Girls Basketball Senior Recognition Night 2016-17

Senior girls’ varsity basketball players were recently honored at their final regular-season home game. The three Lady Wildcats and their families were recognized for their contribution during their four years at WVHS.

Demi is a three-year varsity player and a five-year member of the Lady Wildcat basketball program. She is also a member of the varsity volleyball team. Demi is one of the best leaders in the program. She is an incredibly hard worker who has gotten better each year she has played. She has battled through injuries and pushes her teammates during practice. Demi is the team’s leading rebounder and top interior scorer. Demi plans to attend the State University of New York College at New Paltz, where she will major in public relations.


Sarah is a three-year member of the varsity basketball team, and is also a member of the varsity volleyball team. Sarah is known for her energy and toughness, and the willingness to play through adveristy. She has worked hard to get back to where she belongs, and plays with spirit and fire at all times. Sarah intends to go to Utah State University to continue her studies as an English major.


Greer is a five-year varsity basketball player. She is also an all-star soccer player, a scholarship-track athlete, and a member of the National Honor Society. Greer has been the model player – not just for Warwick basketball, but for Warwick Athletics over the past six years. Greer puts in the effort and does things “right”. This year, she was the team’s best defensive player, and is arguably playing the best basketball of her life right now. Greer also embraces coaching and is a great leader among her peers. Greer will study physical therapy at Boston University next year.
