Five Warwick football players sign National Letters of Commitment

On May 18, five Warwick athletes signed National Letters of Commitment to play football at college.

Noah Daigle
Warwick Senior Football Student-Athlete
National Letter of Commitment to attend United States Military Academy at West Point.
Received nominations from Senator Schumer and Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney.

Career Highlights
• Two-Year Varsity Starter and Senior Team Leader for Warwick Football 2017 Division Champions.
• 73 Total Tackles, 55 Solo Tackles averaging 8.1 tackles for game (3 sacks on season)
• Honorable Mention Section 9 Football Insider Defense, Section Football Coaches Association Honorable Mention All Star
• Captain 2018 Division Champion Lacrosse Team as a midfielder.

Recruited by United States Military Academy at West Point Head Sprint Coach Mark West where he will compete on the defensive side of the ball. West Point won the Collegiate Football League Sprint Title in 2017 with a record of 8-0. West Point competes against Chestnut Hill, Cornell University, Franklin Pierce, Mansfield State, US Naval Academy and University of Penn. Noah plans to study Systems Engineering, and chose West Point over RPI.

Academic accomplishments
• Grade Point Average of 99.3 ranked in the top 20% or his class.
• 4 Year NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete (Lacrosse and Football)
• Attended Boys State Leadership Training, Member of NHS and Volunteer for Warwick Lions club
• Academic schedule includes OCCC Calculus, AP Government, AP Environmental Science, AP US History

Family
Noah’s parents are Liesel and Steve Daigle of Warwick. His brother Nicholas is a junior at Brockport State (recently selected Captain of Brockport lacrosse team) and sister Natalie is a sophomore standout student-athlete.

Harrison Parrelli
Warwick Senior 3-Sport Student-Athlete (Football, Wrestling, Baseball)
National Letter of Commitment to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) in Madison, NJ and compete as a Running Back for the FDU Devils.

Career Highlights
• Two-Year Varsity Starter and Senior Team Leader for Warwick Football 2017 Division Champion Wildcats.
• Led Section 9 “AA” Football in rushing with 1161 Yards and 11 TD’s averaging 7 yards per carry.
• Selected All Division and All – Section IX Coaches All Star Team. Honorable Mention Section 9 Football Insider Defense.
• Placed 4th in Section 9 Wrestling (Junior Season) and won Shore Line Tournament. Catcher for the Varsity Baseball Team.

Recruited by Offensive coordinator Jim Robinson where he will compete on the offensive side of the ball.
FDU competes in the Mid Atlantic Conference with Widener, Delaware Valley and Wilkes University and finished the season 3 – 7.
Harrison plans to study Communication with a minor in Physical Education. He chose FDU over Castleton and Springfield.

Academic accomplishments
• Grade Point Average of 83.4 earning a Regents Diploma
• Received NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete status
• Active in St. Stephens Youth Group
• Academic schedule includes Chemistry, Robotics and Engineering and Communications.

Family
Harrison’s parents are Deborah and Chuck Parrelli of Warwick. His brother Grant graduated from Xavier and will attend medical school in the fall, Hayes is a sophomore at WVHS. Sister Reagan is a graduate of RCC and is a Nursing major, and Madison attends Xavier University.

Connor Perez
Warwick Senior Student-Athlete (Football, Basketball)
National Letter of Commitment to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) of Madison, NJ and compete as a Wide Receiver for the FDU Devils.

Career Highlights
• Two-Year Varsity Starter and Senior Captain for Warwick Football 2017 Division Champion Wildcats.
• Led Section 9 “AA” Football in Receiving with 45 Receptions for 845 yards and 12 TDs (Also started as Defensive Back with 4 INT’s and 6 passes defended).
• Selected All Division and All-Section IX Coaches All Start Team. First Team Times Herald-Record All-Star and All-State Football Selection by the New York State Sports Writers Association. Section IX Insider Offense and Defense All-Star.
• Team Captain and Basketball standout for Warwick Basketball (3 Year Varsity Starter)

Recruited by Offensive Coordinator Jimmy Robinson, and he will compete on the offensive side of the ball. FDU competes in the Mid-Atlantic Conference with Widener, Delaware Valley and Wilkes University. Connor plans to study Sports Administration. He chose FDU over Cortland and Brockport.

Academic accomplishments
• Grade Point Average of 88.2, earning a Regents Diploma
• Received NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete for Football and Basketball
• Yearbook and Physics Clubs, Unified Basketball Captain and volunteer
• Academic schedule includes Chemistry, Communications and Statistics as College Preparatory Courses.

Family
Connor’s parents are Brian and Jennifer of Warwick. His brother Brendan is an 8th grader at Warwick Middle School and Sean is a 3rd grader. His sister Amanda is a graduate of Scranton University of PA (Political Science) and will continue her education in the fall, pursuing a certificate of Advanced Study.

Andrew Wierzbicki
Warwick Senior Football Student-Athlete
National Letter of Commitment to attend SUNY Maritime of Bronx, NY. Andrew will compete as a Football Player for the Maritime Privateers.

Career Highlights
• Two-Year Varsity Starter and Team Captain for Warwick Football 2017 Division Champions
• 55 Total Tackles, 18 Tackles for a Loss and 3 sacks as a Defensive End for top defense in Division II
• Honorable Mention Section 9 Football Insider Defense, Section IX Football Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-Star
• Captain of the Varsity Wrestling Team (195 lbs.)

Recruited by Clayton Kendrick Holmes, Head Football Coach for the Maritime Privateers. He will compete on the defensive side of the ball. Maritime competes in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference where they finished with a 10-2 record and played in ECAC Bowl Game. Maritime competes against Castleton, Alfred State, and Norwich and others. Andrew plans to study Mechanical Engineering, and chose Maritime over WPI and College of New Jersey.

• Grade Point Average of 95.6 ranked in the top 20% of his class.
• 3 Year NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete (Wrestling and Football)
• Volunteer Youth Coach, active at St. Joseph’s Church
• Academic schedule includes OCCC Calculus, AP Government, AP Environmental Science

Family
Andrew’s parents are Tracy and Colleen Wierzbicki of Warwick. His sisters Taylor and Sarah attended SUNY Buffalo and SUNY Binghamton respectively.

Sean English
Warwick Senior Football Student-Athlete
National Letter of Commitment to attend SUNY Maritime of Bronx, NY and enter the Regiment of Cadets Program. Sean will compete as a football player for the Maritime Privateers, who are coming off a 10-win season.

Career Highlights
• Two-Year Varsity Starter and Team Captain for Warwick Football 2017 Division Champion Wildcats
• 65 Total Tackles, 47 solo’s and 3 Tackles for a loss as an Outside Linebacker for top defense in Division II
• Selected to Exceptional Senior Game, Honorable Mention Section 9 Football Insider Defense, Section Football Coaches Association All Division Team
• Selected to wear 44 as Senior

Recruited by Clayton Kendrick Holmes, Head Football Coach for the Maritime Privateers and penciled in as a defensive player. Maritime competes in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference where they finished with a 10-2 record in 2017 and played in ECAC Bowl Game. Maritime has dominated rivals Mass Maritime, Maine Maritime and the Merchant Marine Academy in recent years. Sean plans to study Mechanical Engineering, and chose Maritime over College Preparatory Program for a year.

• Grade Point Average of 90.1 ranked in the top 30% of his class.
• 2 Year NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete
• Volunteer for Beautiful People Baseball Program, Communications Program
• Academic schedule includes Physics, Chemistry, Pre-Calculus

Family
Sean’s parents are Jim and Trish English of Warwick. Brother Jimmy will attend either Castleton or St. Aquinas as a junior in fall 2018.
