School Monitor – 2
$18.56 – $20.25/hour
There are vacancies for School Monitor at Sanfordville Elementary School in the Warwick Valley Central School District. These positions will be considered 10 months, 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
The monitor will be responsible for supervision of students and maintaining order and discipline of all students while on school property. The monitor may also perform miscellaneous clerical tasks.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities include: general intelligence; good knowledge of school policies and procedures; good interpersonal skills with children and the general public; ability to understand and follow oral and written communications; ability to communicate effectively; ability to control adverse situations; dependability; good powers of observation; resourcefulness; tact; courtesy; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Minimum qualification is graduation from high school.
