Some symptoms of game addiction are:

  • Obsessive thoughts
  • Significant negative life consequences
  • Withdrawal (i.e., being severely annoyed when not on a screen)
  • Tolerance (needing more and more time)
  • Using the activity to relieve anxiety or guilt

If any of the above concerns you, you should register to attend a special screening of SCREENAGERS on November 10, at 7 p.m., at Warwick Valley High School.

View the official movie trailer here.

Following the movie, there will be a brief discussion and Q and A, moderated by Beverly Braxton of Family Central and Jerry Sander, Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW-R, and Student Assistance Counselor at Minisink Valley High School.
