Lunch Menus
Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, each Warwick Valley Central School District student will be offered one breakfast and one lunch per day at no cost as part of New York State's new Universal School Meals program. The Universal School Meals program requires that the WVCSD participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast program.
Because our high school and middle school did not previously participate in the federal National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, we are making some adjustments to menu offerings to comply with the USDA nutrition guidelines required for participation.
Additional meals and a la carte items will be available for purchase.
The Universal School Meals program is open to every student and does not require submitting an application. However, eligible families should still fill out and return the the Free and Reduced Meal Application. The information in that application is used to determine eligibility for other benefits, such as Backpack Snack Attack and reduced prices on Advanced Placement exams, college classes and college applications.
We serve more than 1,500 nutritionally balanced lunches to students each day. School lunches provide one-third of the recommended dietary intake for calories, protein and vitamins A and C, iron and calcium. On average, a meal contains less than 30 percent of calories from fat and less than 10 percent from saturated fat. In recent year. the district has increased the use of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Lunch Menus
Menus are available monthly, online and in each of the school district’s cafeterias.
