COVID UPDATE 12.20.2020

Dear Pine Island Elementary School Community,

We hope this email finds you and your family well.

Friday evening, a staff member at Pine Island Elementary School notified the District that she/he tested positive for COVID-19. Once the District became aware of this new infection, we immediately began the contact tracing process. We notified the students (10 kindergarteners) and staff (four employees) now required to quarantine.
We are planning to reopen Pine Island Elementary School tomorrow, Monday, December 21, as expected.
