Cornell Cooperative Extension offers Growing Resilience webinar series
Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Orange has partnered with CCE Delaware to offer a monthly webinar series on Growing Resilience starting Thursday, January 14, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. This series offers a certificate of attendance and an evaluation for each webinar as well as for the recordings.
The series will launch with a focus on “Growing Resilience Begins with Self Care” on Thursday, January 14th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. During this Zoom training, participants will learn about the impact of stress and vicarious trauma, review and practice strategies to promote self-care, explore the essential individual nature of self-care and build a plan for personal sustainability.
Each month from January to May CCE will feature a one-hour Zoom training on Growing Resilience on the second Thursday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. Workshops will be interactive and collaborative with participants, focusing on essential learning and practical take-aways for immediate implementation.
Growing Resiliency monthly virtual training topics are:
- January 14th: Growing Resilience Begins with Self-Care
- February 11th: Growing Resilience to Keep Everyone Safe
- March 11th: Growing and Teaching Resilience
- April 8th: Growing Resilience and Positive Behavior
- May 13th: Growing Resilience to Build Organizational and Community Networks
