WVHS Student-Athlete of the Week, Brendan Egan

Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Brendan Egan as this week’s Bill Garcia Agency ALLSTATE Student–Athlete of the Week. The senior football and baseball standout has helped pitch the Wildcats to a 4- 1 start heading into the Washingtonville Series this week.

Brendan was named First Team All-League, First Team All-Section and First Team All-State as a varsity football offensive tackle. He graduates as one of the top offensive lineman in Warwick’s recent history.

Brendan has focused in on his studies his senior year, earning a 90.0 average the third quarter, including an average of 97 in earth science and 100 in advanced communications (Comm II). Brendan has narrowed his college decision to Rutgers University or Coastal Carolina, where he has been offered roster spots on their Division I football programs. 

Brendan is the son of Eileen and Brian Egan.  His brother Dermott was a standout student–athlete in Wildcat Country, and is currently a junior at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His sisters Kayleigh and Fiona both attend the Warwick Valley Middle School.
