“Apple of My Eye” contest to recognize Warwick teachers

Nominate a teacher for “Apple of My Eye” contest until Feb. 26

The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (WFEL) will partner with Warwick’s Noble Pies to sponsor the second annual “Apple of My Eye” contest to recognize exceptional teachers in the Warwick school district. Students may submit a written or electronic nomination of a teacher who currently works in our school district, and who was/is the “Apple of My Eye” to the student. To submit an online nomination, visit www.wfelny.org or mail entries to: Apple of My Eye Contest, P.O. Box 807, Warwick, NY 10990. Nominations will be accepted from February 1-26, 2016. Based on nominations, one teacher at each school will be selected, and winners will be recognized and awarded an apple pie from Noble Pies, located on Rt. 94S, Warwick.

To nominate a teacher, please provide the following information:
– Name of student nominating a teacher
– Email or phone number of student’s parent/guardian
– Name of teacher being nominated
– Grade nominated teacher currently teaches
– School where nominated teacher currently teaches
– 3-5 sentences describing why the teacher is the “Apple of your Eye”
