A message to WVMS families from Principal Diopoulos

Dear Warwick Valley Middle School Families,

Earlier today, a bullet was found in the boys’ bathroom trash can. The school administration and Warwick Town Police acted swiftly to investigate the situation, and determined that a student had found the bullet on the ground outside at their bus stop and brought it onto school property.

Our highest priorities are the safety and security of our school community. All necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of our students and staff during this incident, and we will continue to work closely with the Warwick Town Police to maintain a safe and secure school.

We urge anyone who sees or hears anything concerning to contact school officials or law enforcement immediately.
