Park Avenue school supply lists, 2018-19

Kindergarten

  • 24 Ticonderoga pencils
  • 2 boxes of Crayola crayons, 24 count
  • 10 large Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 4-pack multi-colored broad-tip Expo dry erase markers with eraser tops or a separate eraser
  • Children’s Fiskar scissors, sharp point
  • Refillable water bottle to be filled at home with fresh water every day
  • Large backpack, no wheels, please
  • Large, old T-shirt to be used as an art smock

Grade 1

  • 2 wide-rule composition notebooks (no spiral bound)
  • 2 folders (2-pocket, with pockets on the bottom)
  • 3 boxes of crayons, 24 count
  • 4 boxes of Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened
  • 1 rectangular plastic pencil box
  • 8 large (1.27 oz.) glue sticks
  • 1 small bottle Elmer’s glue
  • 1 pair Fiskars child safety scissors
  • 1 package of 4 dry erase markers
  • Art smock
  • Backpack
  • Reusable water bottle

*Please label everything except for glue sticks, pencils and glue.


Grade 2

  • 3 standard composition notebooks, wide-rule
  • 2 double-pocket laminated folders
  • 3 dozen Ticonderoga pencils
  • 2 large glue sticks
  • 1 pair Fiskars child safety scissors
  • 2 boxes of 24 crayons
  • 1 pack of colored pencils
  • 1 pack of markers
  • 1 pack of two different colored dry erase markers
  • 3 pink erasers
  • Plastic pencil box, 8”x5”
  • 2 packages of Post-It notes, 3″x 3″
  • 2 mini composition notebooks, 4.5″x 3.25″
  • T-shirt art smock

*Please no mechanical pencils


Grade 3

  • 4 marble composition notebooks
  • I box of pencils, sharpened (Ticonderoga is best)
  • 1 box of crayons, 24 count
  • Pink erasers
  • 1 highlighter
  • 2 plastic pocket folders
  • 4 large glue sticks
  • Art smock
  • Soft zippered pencil case (not a box)
  • Personal ear buds (any type) placed in a Ziploc bag labeled with student’s name.

Grade 4

  • 2 notebooks (3-subject)
  • 3 packs of Post-It Notes, 3″x3″
  • 1 pack colored pencils
  • 1 box of crayons, 24 count
  • 4 composition notebooks
  • 2 sturdy, laminated 2-pocket folder
  • Soft zipper case for supplies
  • 3 large glue sticks
  • 1 package wide-ruled loose leaf paper
  • 3 boxes Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened
  • Erasers
  • Scissors
  • Smock for art
  • Personal ear buds or headphones (any type) in a Ziploc bag labeled with student’s name

Grade 4 Strings with Mrs. Moser

Please have the following by Sept. 1.

  • Assigned instrument (by student and Mrs. Moser) in the correct, listed size
  • “Essential Elements, Book 1” for the assigned instrument (violin, viola, cello, or string bass); GOLD color
  • “Suzuki School, Book 1” for assigned instrument (violin, viola, cello, or string bass). Original or revised edition is fine. Do not purchase the edition with the CD.
  • Extra A and D string (or a full set to save you time later)
  • Folding music stand to support good practice posture and habits

    Saxophone or clarinet: one box of 10 Rico reeds, cleaning swabs
    Brass: valve oil, cleaning cloth
    Oboe: 3 medium soft reeds
