13 students from WVHS recognized in the
2011 National Merit Scholarship Program

The 2011 Semifinalists and Commended Students have been announced by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. This year, Warwick Valley High School had 13 students recognized by the program - among the highest number of students ever.

is bringing back excitement of discovery of the world close to

Backpack Snack Attack Program thanks WVHS students for their generosity

"The Backpack Snack Attack Program is very grateful for the generous food donations made by Warwick Valley High School students on the first day of school," stated program organizer Shirley Puett in an open letter to students. She went on to say, "Thanks to Principal Richard Linkens for allowing students to use backpacks and asking students to bring food in their backpacks to show support for families who are going through difficult times in our community."
