SCHOOL MONITOR
Warwick Valley Central School – High School
$16.48- $17.98/hour

Effective immediately, there is a vacancy for School Monitor at the Warwick Valley Central School District Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position, Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

The monitor will be responsible for supervision of students and maintaining order and discipline of all students while on school property. The monitor may also perform miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities include: general intelligence; good knowledge of school policies and procedures; good interpersonal skills with children and the general public; ability to understand and follow oral and written communications; ability to communicate effectively; ability to control adverse situations; dependability; good powers of observation; resourcefulness; tact; courtesy; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

This is a replacement position.  Minimum qualification is graduation from high school.

Effective immediately, there is a vacancy for School Monitor at the Warwick Valley Central School District Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position, Monday through Friday four (4) hours per day 6:50 AM – 8:50 AM and 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

The monitor will be responsible for supervision of students and maintaining order and discipline of all students while on school property. The monitor may also perform miscellaneous clerical tasks.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities include: general intelligence; good knowledge of school policies and procedures; good interpersonal skills with children and the general public; ability to understand and follow oral and written communications; ability to communicate effectively; ability to control adverse situations; dependability; good powers of observation; resourcefulness; tact; courtesy; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
