
PIONEERS OF THE 21ST CENTURY
Sanfordville Elementary School, a new state-of-the-art facility, is designed to accommodate 725 Kindergarten-fifth grade students. The school, situated on over 100 acres of beautiful farmland, services students who live mostly in the southwestern part of the town of Warwick.
The building also hosts the Warwick Satellite Program (BOCES) for special needs students from all over Orange County.
Instructional program offerings include special programs for developmental growth in the fine arts and physical education, as well as mandated services to meet the needs of all children. A component of the Partners-In-Education Program (P.I.E.) for grades 1-5 is also housed at Sanfordville Elementary School. P.I.E. is multi-graded, utilizes the talents and resources of parents as partners in learning, and adheres to an integrated thematic approach to instruction. MORE ABOUT THE P.I.E. PROGRAM
The school-community of Sanfordville comprised of students, parents, and staff, work interdependently to promote excellence in education. In its short history, Sanfordville students have distinguished themselves by achieving at the highest levels on State, National and District assessments. This is a tribute to the hard work of the students, encouragement and support of the parents, dedication of the teaching staff, and the high expectations of Central Administration and the Board of Education. In keeping with this tenet, Sanfordville students are traditionally recognized as "Pioneers of the 21st Century."
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL START AND END TIMES
Elementary school begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.
The early dismissal time for elementary school is 11:25 a.m.
