The Pine Island Community School will continue to provide an environment where students experience the joy, excitement, and love of learning. The school will foster the growth of self-reliance, resourcefulness, and personal responsibility.

Pine Island School maintains its agricultural roots atop one of the "islands" in fertile Black Dirt country. Its student population reflects the diversity of the region, with its homes for farmers, artists, and people in business and service.

The original building was built in 1929 and has educated students of many grade levels. Currently it is a kindergarten through fifth grade school of 250 to 275 students. Its students have access to all programs offered in Warwick's elementary schools.

Students will experience connection and harmony with their extended community. All children will be challenged by a visionary curriculum which inspires academic excellence through a variety of experiences, with the arts and self-expression being a common thread. The foundation for becoming lifelong learners and contributing members of society will begin at Pine Island School.
