On Wed., Feb. 11 W.V.M.S. held Spelling Bee Finals in the Middle School Cafeteria. All 7th- and 8th-grade students participated in Round #1, then the top five spellers per team competed to become the top two team representatives. Twelve 7th- and 8th-grade students participated in the building level finals.
The W.V.M.S. 7th-grade champion is Hannah T. and the 8th-grade champion is Lauren W. They will represent Warwick in the Regional Finals at BOCES in Goshen on March 18. The winners there will then represent our region at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in May.
