of using online flashcards (Quia website)
There are several benefits/uses for the flashcards online. those benefits are:
- Students (and parents) can access the flashcards either at
home or at
school whenever they want.
- The quia website (see links below) also provides games,
quizzes, tests and access to
additional lessons/games from other teachers
- The games included are concentration, battleship and
hangman based on
each chapter and some offer the chance to pair up with
another student
and compete for points. These games are a good way to recall
information.
- The quia website also provides practice quizzes online. It
will give
students instant feedback which they can use to determine
what
vocabulary words they need to focus on when reviewing
flashcards.
- Teachers have a choice to track students’ performances on
quizzes or
tests on line.
- Students can print out the vocabulary anytime and
anywhere. Students
have been known to lose their notes. Now there isn't any
excuse. The
