Mrs. Lindsay and Mr. Myers have introduced a second elective unit into their PE curriculum for 2nd through 5th graders. For the very first time, students were able to choose between Lacrosse or Volleyball.
Both activities were enthusiastically received! While Mr. Myers was working on bumping, spiking, serving and proper rotation with his groups, Mrs. Lindsay worked on cradling, scooping, proper throwing and catching techniques with hers. Both units culminated in games that utilized all the previously learned skills.

Meanwhile, Kindergarten, First graders, and PIE 1-2 classes honed in on their dancing skills with beginning square dances, traditional ones like the “Bunny Hop”, as well as contemporary ones like the “Cotton-Eyed Joe”, “Cha Cha Slide”, and “Electric Slide”.
