- Seniors listen up; here are some important senior
announcements:
- Only 12 seniors still need to pick up their senior
sweatshirts! Miss Sutton still has a few medium and small
sweatshirts available for $30.00 Cash.
- Two week from today is your graduation rehearsal. Seniors
please be prompt, 10:00AM at the football field. You may not
participate in graduation unless you attend this graduation
rehearsal.
- Seniors please be sure that you have turned in your
parking tag today or Monday or you will not be able to pick
up your cap and gown after rehearsal until you have turned
this in.
- Also seniors, please make sure that you have handed in all
of your texts, library books, calculators, sports equipment,
etc. or you will not be able to pick up your cap and gown
until you do so.
- The Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis match will beheld on
June 23rd and 24th from 3:00 to 6:00PM. If you are
interested in playing or would like more information. Please
see your respective coach.
- All members of the Boys Golf team, if you have not done so
already, please see Mr. Weed sometime throughout the course
of the day today.
- Senior sweatshirts are here! Go to Room 136 periods 3-8
today to get your senior sweatshirt.
- All girls interested in play soccer next year there is a
mandatory meeting on Monday, June 16th at 3:15PM in the Gym
lobby.
- Attention all Students – the Regents and Finals Exam
schedule has been revised. Copies are available in the HSO.
If you have a conflict on the revised schedule, please fill
out a Conflict form and return to the HSO as soon as
possible.
- Attention Students, who purchased concert tickets from
Students for Wish Kids, you must pick up your tickets today.
Come see Ms. Aro in Room 211.
- In the Library Media Center students from Study Hall will
be one at a table from now to the end of classes. There will
be quiet study only – no talking. Please only students who
need to use the Library for final projects and papers.
- Attention Students for Wish Kids, all radio interns must
see Ms. Aro today. We will not be meeting this Saturday. Our
next show will be Saturday, June 21st.
- Looking for a fun way to spend the first week of August?
Camp Oswegatchie offers a high ropes course, 500 foot
zipline, kayaking, and numerous outdoor activities in the
Adirondacks at a reduced price. Pick up registration forms
in the High School office. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit
is due to Mrs. Colgan by this Friday.
- Please return parking tags to the HSO TODAY. You will not
need a parking tag during exams and regents week. Remember
to park in student lot only.
- Yearbooks will be distributed this week.

- Reminder for all students: PLEASE: Library books need to
be returned TODAY. Seniors, you need to return all
materials, including Library books in order to get your cap
& gown.
- To all Drama Club members, the Doc Fry Center is looking
for student actors to work a function on Monday, June 23rd,
from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. You will dress as a certain character
and stay in character all evening. If you are interested in
volunteering for this fun event, please see Mr. DiLeo in
Room 103.

- It is unfortunate that some students think that because it
is the end of the school year it is a time to engage in
behavior that disrupts the educational process. For all of
you who decide to engage in this behavior. Know this – there
is zero tolerance for any behavior that disrupts this
building. The consequences will extend to the end of this
year and into next year if possible. This includes those who
decide to be spectators and ignore their scheduled location.
Please make these final days pleasant and rewarding. No
backpacks are to worn during the school day. BOCES students
will be given time to access their lockers to get them. Any
backpacks worn will be confiscated and searched. No cell
phones are to be visible during the school day. Students are
permitted to use them during their lunch period and only in
the cafeteria or outside. Those who violate this will have
their cell phones confiscated and parents will be contacted
to pick up those cell phones.

meeting for all girls interested in competing this Fall.

officers and giving out pins to those members who earned
them. All members are encouraged to attend our last meeting.

today at 2:00PM at the Ketchum House behind the public
Library.

- The Warwick Valley Bowling Club had a very successful
season. There is a summer league forming – Mondays at 4:30PM
– ALL are welcome. There is also a fundraiser – BOWL TO THE
BEAT – this Saturday night 7:00-10:00PM. For details see
Mrs. Sinclair in Room 162.

- There will be a yearbook meeting today right afterschool
in Room 132 to talk about next year’s yearbook! See Mr. Mita

- Congratulations to the Class of 2008 from Miss Sutton for
an excellent Senior Prom!
- The Warwick Hockey team yet again added another win to
their record this weekend by defeating Jefferson High School
5-2. Now with a record of 9 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie, the first
place Warwick will face-off this Saturday vs. the Warriors
at 6:15PM at Skylands Ice World.
- Attention all girls interested in joining The Purple Wave.
The Cross Country information meeting will be held Tuesday,
June 10th at 2:45PM in the Middle School Gym. See you there.
- Class of 2009 Senior t-shirt are on sale this week until
Friday, $12.00 cash only maybe given to Miss Sutton.

from their final race of the season, the Hudson Valley
Rowing League Championships on the Hudson River in
Poughkeepsie. In an exciting race, the Boys Lightweight 4
brought home a first place win. The Girls 8 and Boys 8 each
came in third place and Boys Heavyweight 4 came in Fourth
place.
