“d” Day
• One this last day of school, I wish to
congratulate two of my colleagues on their upcoming
retirement: Ms. Cindy Matteson and Ms. Julie Sutton. This is
the moment we all strive toward; may your retirement years
be the most enjoyable, fulfilling and rewarding of all.
Happy retirement. And to the Class of 2009: Famous Coach
Vince Lombardi once stated, “The price of success is hard
work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination
that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of
ourselves to the task at hand.”
• Seniors, as you leave WVHS later this June, remember to
reach for success and be the best you can possibly be, but
remember that if you take from the world, be sure to give
back doubly.
• Congratulations Class of 2009, and the best of luck in all
you do.
• Attention students, if you are registered for AP Psych
next year, please see Mrs. Fogler in Room 129 ASAP to pick
up your book.
• In Girls Track six girls earned All State status.
Congratulations on a great season.
• This past weekend many Wildcat athletes competed @ the New
York State Track and Field Championships.
• Yearbooks will be distributed during 3rd, 6th and 8th
period and afterschool today. Today is your last opportunity
to pick up your yearbook this year. No yearbooks will be
given out during Regents week.
• Seniors, please make sure you are handing in all of your
textbooks, library books, parking tags, calculators,
athletic uniforms, etc. so that you are not placed on the
penalty list. If you are still on the penalty list you will
not receive your cap and gown after graduation practice on
Friday, June 26 until you clear yourself off the penalty
list. Please make sure that you are aware of the dates and
times for Baccalaureate, Graduation Rehearsal and
Graduation. These dates and times were mailed home to you in
a senior letter and they are posted throughout the school.
Have
a great summer!
Congratulations to the class of 2009
