Warwick valley high school CURRICULUM

The
warwick valley high school curriculum handbook
The high school curriculum handbook
should be reviewed carefully so that informed decisions may
be made for the student’s academic schedule in the following
year. We also recommend that everyone takes advantage of the
valuable and interesting elective program offered in the
high school.

syracuse
university project advance (SUPA) at wvhs
High school seniors can earn college
credit through Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA).
SUPA is a cooperative program between Syracuse University
and Warwick Valley High School. Qualified high school
seniors have the opportunity to rise to the challenge of
college work by taking two college courses: WRITING STUDIO I
and READING AND INTERPRETATION: FROM LANGUAGE TO DISCOURSE
through this program. Students taking and passing the above
courses will earn 3 college credits per class. Registering
for a Syracuse University course incurs a financial
obligation to the University on the part of the student/parent(s).
This year, the above courses were $110 per credit, or $330
each. Credit is awarded by Syracuse University.
