WVHS students announced as January's Regional Scholastic Art

First place winner: "Dream. Believe. Inspire." by Sara G. |
The winners of January's Regional Scholastic Art Awards winners were announced Jan. 20, 2010. Congratulations to Warwick junior Sara G. who won first place for her drawing “Dream. Believe. Inspire.,” sophomore Gina H. who won second place for her painting “Man and Machine,” to senior Samantha J. who won second place for her drawing “Temptations of Fall,” senior Samantha K. who won second place for her single wire rose sculpture “Delicate Form.” Griffin K. and Nicole K. also placed second for their portfolios. Danielle Ripp won honorable mention for her portfolio. Congratulations to all! An exhibit featuring the winning artwork is scheduled for February 5 from 7 to 9:30 p.m., State University of New York New Paltz in the McKenna Theater.
