Through the Science Research in the high school (SRHS) program, students conducted and presented results of their original science research
Warwick Valley High School's University in the High School
Science Research Symposium (an outreach program of the State
University of New York at Albany) took place Thurs., June 11. There were poster
presentations and senior oral presentations. Keynote speaker
Eve Tuck presented "The Power of Youth Research."

Sattler named "Outstanding Science Teacher"
May 18, 2009 - Mr. Ed Sattler, environmental science teacher at Warwick Valley High School, has been named by the Science Teachers Association of New York State - Southeast Section (STANYS-SE) as an "Outstanding Science Teacher." Nominees for the award must have five years' teaching experience, demonstrate exemplary science teaching and exemplify the professional teacher in attitude, approach, diligence, dedication and knowledge. Mr. Sattler was honored at a dinner on May 29.
