July 8, 2014 - Warwick Valley High School Principal Richard Linkens will become the district’s Director of School Operations, and Dr. Larry Washington will be the new high school principal, the district has announced. More

for WVHS students

June 6, 2014 - Are you interested in science and technology mentor-based programs that build technology and engineering skills that inspire innovation, communication and leadership? FIRST Lego league is not just for younger kids, and not just about programming and building robots. Lego League also fosters creative thinking, problem solving, public speaking and teamwork skills.
FIRST stands for: For Inspiration Recognition of Science & Technology.
•  Junior FLL is for ages 6-9
•  FLL is for ages 9-16
•  The F.I.R.S.T. Tech and First Robotics programs are for high school students

"Our House - The Wildcat Journey 2013-14" DVD

May 23, 2014 - WVHS senior Communications 2 students produced a WVHS production called "Our House – The Wildcat Journey 2013-14" that features many of the events that shaped their senior year. This is not a yearbook that covers every event, but includes an exciting variety of events. Funds raised from the sale will benefit the communications program through supply and equipment purchases. STEM scholarship for SUNY and CUNY students

May 6, 2014 - Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has announced the launch of the New York State Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program, which will encourage the best and brightest high school students to pursue high-demand, high-tech careers and build their future in New York. The program provides a full SUNY or CUNY tuition scholarship to the top 10% of students in every New York high school if they major in a STEM field and work in a STEM job in New York State for five years after graduation.
