Sophomores and juniors: PSAT to be given in school Oct. 28
Oct. 6, 2015 - High school counselors will be in English class on Tues., Oct. 6 (A Day) & Wed., Oct. 7 (B Day) to speak to juniors & sophomores about the PSAT exam, which will take place on Wed., Oct. 28, 2015. Important information about the exam will be sent home with all students.

TIME: 7:45am -11:30am (approximately)
Transportation will be provided- your regular bus

World renowned electric violinist Mark Wood to perform in rock orchestra concert with WVCSD students
OCT. 17 CONCERT OPEN TO PUBLIC!
Oct. 5, 2015 – Come see Warwick Valley Orchestra students in grades 6-12 transform into a full-fledged Rock Orchestra, as Emmy-award winning composer Mark Wood performs alongside them on his handcrafted 7-string fretted electric Viper violin. The concert is part of the 2015 Electrify Your Strings! "Authentic Tour," and will take place on Sat., Oct. 17, at 7 p.m., at the Warwick Valley High School Auditorium. conferences are scheduled for Tues., Oct. 13 and Wed.,
Oct. 21 from 5-8 p.m. Conferences are not mandatory and
are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. If you
wish to discuss your student’s academic performance, you
may schedule a conference with individual teachers by
clicking on the link below. Please sign up for one
conference per your child’s teacher(s). Since all
teachers' names will be listed, be sure to use your
student’s schedule to guide you to specific teachers. Once
you've scheduled your times, you'll receive an automatic

Katie's Music Wish club at WVHS provides musical instruments to students in need - seeking donations
Oct. 5, 2015 - Do you have an old violin or cello collecting dust in your attic? Find a new home for that instrument while helping a child not fortunate enough to be able to afford one. Katie's Music Wish is a new club at WVHS that provides string instruments to children who've been unable to attain one.
WVHS Leadership Academy accepting applications

October, 2015 - The Warwick Valley High School Leadership Academy is accepting applications.
Participants of the Warwick Valley High School Leadership Academy work closely with adult mentors in our community to explore and to develop their leadership abilities. Activities will include participating in a Student Leadership Challenge workshop presented by Collegiate Empowerment, and having the opportunity to attend a series of focus groups led by local leaders who are interested in sharing their insights and talents. New HS lunch program provides students with more options
Sept. 25, 2015 – This year, the District began a new school lunch program at the high school, with a goal of providing delicious, high quality food for our high school students at a reasonable cost. The menu includes a variety of à la carte items, such as sandwiches, wraps, heroes, hamburgers, salads and, of course, our homemade pizza, along with a varied selection of drinks. Food Services is also able to accommodate students’ special dietary needs. To provide a reasonably priced lunch option, the District offers a “Meal Deal,” which includes any entrée with an 8 oz. milk for $3.00.
Charlotte casts her web at WVHS this fall
Sept. 30, 2015 - The Warwick Valley High School Drama Club has announced its fall production will be a revival of one of its best loved shows, Charlotte’s Web. This official adaptation of the E.B. White novel has all the enchanting characters children have come to love. Nick DiLeo, the Club’s longtime advisor who is returning after a three-year hiatus, is directing Charlotte’s Web. Performances are scheduled for Fri., Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., and Sat., Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Theater at Warwick Valley High School. Sept. 22, 2015 - Homecoming included a themed spirit week,
float-building at the bus garage, in-school pep
rally, powder puff game, bonfire, parade through the Village of Warwick, Wildcats football game, and Homecoming Dance.
The events were a celebration of what Warwick's schools
