Vote for New PTSA Officers at Our Next Meeting On Thurs., May 17, 2012

Vote for new officers at our next meeting on Thurs., May 17 at 6:15 p.m. in room 132.

 

Student Artwork on Display at the Albert Wisner Library Throughout May

May 2, 2012 - Reflections artwork by middle and high school students will be on display in the boardroom of the Albert Wisner Library during the month of May. This year's theme was "Diversity Means. . . " Warwick Valley Middle School student Bria Metzger received an Award of Commendation from the New York State PTA for her visual arts piece. Next year's theme is "The Magic of a Moment."

 

Staff Appreciation Luncheon - May 30, 2012

This year's staff appreciation luncheon will take place on Wed., May 30. If you are able to help please contact Nancy at threelab@optonline.net or 258-4270. We are looking for desserts, refreshments, appetizers and side salads.

 

WVHS Students to Compete at State Level with 2011-12 Reflections Art

The PTA Reflections Program is designed to enhance quality arts education for students in preschool through grade 12, encouraging them to create works of art in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts. The theme for this year's Reflections Program was - "Diversity Means..."

All students who created art to interpret this year's Reflections theme "Diversity Means…" were honored at the first ever jointly held Reflections Fair at Sanfordville Elementary School.

Congratulations to high school students Spencer Brief, Victoria O'Connor, and Emma Brown for contributing their work. Spencer's work won at the Central Hudson Level and will be going on to compete at the New York State level. Good Luck, Spencer!
