More than 160 students participated in the Sanfordville tradition
Feb. 6, 2012 - "TV Turnoff Week" has come to be a much-anticipated and enjoyable tradition at Sanfordville Elementary School. This year's events included a Pottery Workshop by Pcasso, a Book Swap, a Spelling Bee and a Photography Expo and Open Mike Night.
More than 160 students participated in the various events, instead of watching tv, playing vidoe games or going on the computer. TV Turnoff Week coincided nicely with the PTA's Parents As Reading Partners.
Thanks to the support of the dedicated teachers, staff and pareents, Sanfordville students gave up their screen time to read, dance, paint, sing and spell!
