Beef purchased through the USDA during the 2011-12 school year does not contain what is known as “pink slime." Purchases that will be made during the 2012-13 school year that come from the USDA will also be purchased from vendors that do not use this product during processing.

THE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PROGRAM
Warwick Schools offer breakfast and lunch to all students. If there is a two-hour delay, breakfast will not be served.
The Warwick Valley Central School District Food Service Department is pleased to provide parents with a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your child's school meal account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to view their child's account balance through a website called MyNutriKids.com. By having money in each child's account prior to entering the cafeteria, we find the lunch lines move along much faster so your child has more time to eat and be with friends. Click here to learn more about MyNutriKids.
If you decide not to take advantage of the online prepayment service, you may continue to make advance payments via check, which should be made out to Warwick Valley Central School District. Please write your child's full name on the check. Children may also purchase their meal with cash in the cafeteria.
For more information, please contact the Food Service Department Director Lois Radon at 987-3050, ext. 12890.
