Sept. 1, 2011 - Please be aware when travelling to our schools that, due to the recent tropical storm, there are some road closures in our area. As of Thurs., Sept. 1, the following directional changes may apply:

● If travelling Kings Highway from Chester, you will need to turn right onto Ackerman Road and
proceed to 17A/94, as Kings Highway is closed south of the Warwick Town Hall building. Make a left onto 17A/94 and proceed to Main Street in Warwick. Make a right onto West Street.

● From Rt. 94 in Vernon, N.J. into Warwick, Rt. 94 is closed between Dekay Road and
Sanfordville Road. Please follow the detour signs to get to Warwick.

● County Rt. 1A is closed between Route 94 and the district bus garage. Either take West Street to the high school/middle school, or continue on Rt. 94 to Sanfordville Road to get to SES, the High School or the Middle School.

● If you live in Warwick you know the bridge on Park Way is out. Take 17A to come around Stanley Deming Park
to get to Park Avenue Elementary School.

● As of now, County Rt. 1A is closed through Pine Island, but may be reopened shortly.

● South Street and Forester Avenue have both been reopened in Warwick.

● It is expected that Kings Highway will be open for the start of school. We await further information as to
when the county roads will reopen.
