Boys and Girls off to Great Start
The boys and girls track teams attended the Penn Relays this past weekend. Both teams’ Distance Medley Relays placed third in the Relay Championship of America. The girls’ team of Tori P., Kristin J., Jackie K. and Lillian G. ran an 11:45.69. Jenna M. vaulted 10’10.75 inches. Both teams did very well at the N.Y. Relays on April 19th. Jackie K., Kim N., Tori P. and Lillian G. took first in the 4 X 1600 Meter Relay with a time of 21.27. Legendary Track Coach Tim St. Lawrence will be inducted into the Rockland county Hall of Fame this weekend. Congratulations Coach St.!!!
Baseball
Wildcats return from Arizona
The boys’ baseball team returned from a team enrichment trip to Arizona where they played a scrimmage game and honed their baseball skills. The trip was funded by the booster club and the students themselves. The baseball team is currently 6 – 3 and will take on Pine Bush on 4/29 at Pine Bush and then play Cornwall on 4/30 and Saugerties on 5/1. John M. has been on fire with 4 homeruns this season.

Alexis S. Pitches Team to Win
The Warwick Girls Softball Team finished the week with a convincing 18 – 3 win over Washingtonville heading into the break. The Wildcats have 5 wins and are 1 -1 in division. Alexis S. earned her first career varsity win as pitcher of record. The Cats were led by Erin F. and freshman Nicole V. Nicole led the Cats with 10 hits over 5 games while Erin knocked in 7 runs. Katie S. finished the week with an impressive 2.33 ERA and 21 strike outs.

Defeat Middletown
The boys lacrosse team evened their record at 5 – 5 with a victory over Middletown. John K. scored 6 goals in the win. Stephen C. netted 10 saves as the Wildcats get ready to take on FDR at FDR on 4/29 and Washingtonville at home on 5/2 beginning at 4:30 PM.

The Girls Team was off over break - they will resume action on Monday 4/ 28 against Monroe Woodbury at Sanfordville before taking on Washingtonville on 4/29 at 4:30 PM at Sanfordville.

Peter K. Leads Way
Team was off this week for the break and will return to action on 4/29 at Delaware Valley, Pa., then travel to Monticello on 4/30.

Wildcats Earn 9th Win
The Wildcat boys are off to a strong season with a 9 -1 overall record and are still undefeated in division. Ryan M. leads the way with a 39.2 average per round. This week the team will play Goshen on 4/29 and Port on 4/30 before taking on Washingtonville on 5/1 and O’Neill on 5/2.

meg r. and noelle G. Pace Cats to Victory
Meg R. and Noelle G. both shot 52 with Kim S. coming in with a 53 to help the lady cats defeat Burke Catholic. The girls are now 6 – 1 overall.
