Bryan H. has been selected as this weeks Warwick Valley High School Student–Athlete of the week sponsored by ALLSTATE Insurance Bill Garcia Agency of Warwick.
The senior baseball standout has been an important part of the teams’ outstanding season. As a starting pitcher, Bryan is 6–0 with an earned run average of around 2.5. Bryan pitched the Wildcats to a first-round Section 9 baseball win over Monroe-Woodbury. Bryan and the Wildcat defense held MW to 4 hits over 7 innings and just two runs in the 5–2 victory.
Bryan carries a B average and will be attending St. Josephs University in Philadelphia, where he will study international relations. He is unsure if he will continue on with his baseball career at the Atlantic 10 school.
Bryan is a member of the Orange County Academic League and is in his second year on the varsity baseball team. He is the son of Eric and Victoria H. of Warwick and has one brother, Eric, who is a sophomore on the tennis team.
