Warwick Valley High School is proud to honor Meghan Ryan as this week’s Warwick Valley High School Student–Athlete of the Week, sponsored locally by the Bill Garcia ALLSTATE Insurance Agency of Warwick.

The sophomore 3 sport athlete (soccer, indoor track, golf) received the NYSPHSAA Sportsmanship Award for Section 9 Women’s Golf. Meghan finished 29th overall at the State Championships held in Delhi, New York this past weekend. This marked her 3rd appearance qualifying for the State Championships. Megan participates in the Metropolitan Junior Golf Leagues and recently won the Warwick Valley Country Club Women’s Title.

Meghan is a strong student with a 3.5 Grade Point Average. Her course load includes Honors Social Studies and English. She recently received the Superintendent’s Award for Girls Golf given for leadership.

Meghan is the daughter of Peggy and Tom Ryan. Her brother Patrick is in the 6th grade she, has a sister Mackenzie (25) who has graduated.
