to honor scholar-athletes at breakfast may 20

The Warwick Valley High School Athletics Department will
honor the districts’ Scholar – Athletes with a breakfast
hosted by ALLSTATE Insurance local agent Bill Garcia on
Tuesday, May 20 at 8:00 a.m. in the high school’s south
cafeteria. Twenty five different teams and clubs have been
recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic
Association (NYSPHSAA) for achieving averages for a core
number of students of over 90 during their sport season.
The Girls’ Cross Country Team will be recognized by NYSPHSAA for being the top academic achievers in XC for the state with a top 7 grade point average of 99.266 (Samantha R., Renee C., Tori P., Anna Marie C., Amy C., Alexa J. and Chelsea C.).
