Lillian G. has been selected as this week's Warwick Valley
High School Student – Athlete of the Week, sponsored by
ALLSTATE Insurance Bill Garcia Agency of Warwick.
The super sophomore won four Orange
County League Titles this Weekend at the Orange County
League Track Meet held at Warwick Valley High School on
Saturday, May 24. Lillian won the 800 Meters (2:13.58), the
1500 Meters (2:15.47), the 3000 Meters (9:56.65) and was a
part of the 4 X 800 Meter Relay Team that finished first
with
a time of 9:31.11 (Lillian G., Megan M., Jaqueline K. and
Tori .)
Lillian was a member of the New York State Scholar Athlete Championship Cross Country Team this fall and has an average of 93 - carrying a very challenging course load. Lillian is extremely dedicated to the cross country and track and field venues. Lillian is just a sophomore and quickly opened the eyes of many of the colleges and universities on the east coast. Lucky for Wildcat fans…she is only a sophomore.
Lillian G. is the daughter of Peter and
Linda G. of Warwick. Her brother Lars is a freshman at the
high school, Paul is in 5th grade and her sister Penny is in
3rd grade. Warwick Athletics and the Bill Garcia Agency are
proud to honor Lillian as this week’s scholar – athlete of
the week.
