Jenna M. has been selected as this week’s Warwick Valley High
School Student – Athlete of the Week, sponsored by ALLSTATE
Insurance Bill Garcia Agency of Warwick. The junior Track
and Field superstar is the current school record-holder for
the Triple Jump (35’11”) and 55 Meter Hurdles (8.57
seconds). She finished 1st in the Triple Jump at the Section
9 Championships and will represent Warwick at the state meet
this weekend in both the Triple Jump and the Pole Vault.
Jenna is an important piece to the Section 9 and OCL
Champion Girls Indoor Track Team.
Jenna is a devoted member of the girls’ swim team and is one
of the top divers in the area. She competes as a swimmer
during the fall season. She currently holds the six dive
points record (221 points) for the Warwick Girls Swim and
Dive Team. Jenna has been on the high honor roll or the
honor roll every quarter of her high school career. She
names Tim St. Lawrence as an important influence on her in
athletics. Coach St. works with Jenna in the pole vault club
and has fine-tuned her athletic performance in the vault.
Her best jump was 11’ 0” and climbing.
Jenna M. is the daughter of Joe and Linda M. of Warwick. Her
brother Dan is a Class of 2006 graduate of W.V.H.S. Warwick
Valley High School and the Bill Garcia ALLSTATE Insurance
Agency are proud to honor Jenna M. as this week’s
Student-Athlete of the Week.
